Finding Web Resources

Now that you have print resources down, let's turn to the web. Searching the Web often seems like the easiest way to find information, but it's not always the most reliable or complete - that's why we looked at print resources first.

However, the Web does contain a tremendous amount of information, and it can provide useful information quickly if you know how and what to look for, and how to evaluate your results.

Searching the web is much like searching an electronic database: you need to define your search terms, choose a search engine, and then evaluate your results.

You should already have your search terms, so let's move on to web search engines.
