Dear Sirs:

This letter is being written in reponse to your ad that appeared in the Boston Globe last week. I'm very interested in the job of editor.

My experience ranges from working on my own web sites to working on those for my friends. In addition, I've even developed a site for a local non-profit organization that provides free medical and dental care.

Part of my education has been directed toward learning software skills and editing. I've taken two programming courses, one in multimedia design, and another in technical editing.

Please consider me for the position. I'd be happy to bring some of my work. If you want to talk with me, my phone number is 540.444-9494.

Sincerely,

Johnathan Proce
