[SFRA-L] Lem's politics

Thanks to all who threw in a few thots. Thanks especially to Jim for forwarding the thots of George Zebrowski. It's really interesting that Lem was Popper's student--vicariously, yes, thru the books? Certainly there's much of Popper's personality in Lem's prose, tho I would not have thot of something like _The Open Society_. I'll have to think abt that.
