Lewis,
Short answer is that everything that's currently free will remain
free, including updates as we complete the text. (At least as long as
we're partnered with Gollancz, which should be well beyond the
completion of the text.) We're getting in a lot of requests for other
things - print versions, iPhone/Android apps, etc. I don't feel
comfortable about getting into those right now - partly because the
priority has to be to get the text and the website working as they
should do, and partly since they'll inevitably have a cost attached,
and I don't think we should be asking people for money on the basis of
an incomplete text. At some point, we may also have to look at
carrying ads on the site, but again that won't happen while we're
partnered with Gollancz; and I'd want them to be as unobtrusive as
possible.
