Hal,
The same goes for me. You've been a treasure for the entire SF research community.

Good Day to all my colleagues in SFRA and IAFA:
Over the years, a number of you have corresponded with me, asking questions or seeking copies of elusive items. After missing some attempted contacts, it is appropriate to inform you of changes.
At the end of August, 2010, I retired from the Cushing Library of Texas A&M, but not, I should note, from science fiction or from bibliographic work. August marked the end of forty years at Texas A&M, and forty-five years with the State of Texas. It was time to hang up my librarian spurs.
Now, I would like to introduce you to my colleague, Cait Coker, who will be handling research questions for the Science Fiction and Fantasy Research Collection at Texas A&M. Cait has been at the library for three years, and is well-versed in the holdings of the SF collection. She is knowledgeable about SF and fantasy in general, and is very active as a scholar of both librarianship and SF and fantasy. She is the manager of reference services for the Cushing Library, and is amazingly energetic about getting answers for all comers.
Cait has published eight articles or chapters on SF and fantasy topics, and five articles in librarianship while at A&M, along with presentations at the Film and History Conference, ALA, Slayage, the Darkover Convention, and the Popular Culture Association. She is also assisting in the continued development of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Research Database. Did I mention energetic?
For reference assistance or library matters, contact Cait at the Cushing Library, 979-845-1951, or by email to ccoker at library.tamu.edu<mailto:ccoker at library.tamu.edu>.
Should any of you desire to contact me, the new email is hwh9000 at gmail.com<mailto:hwh9000 at gmail.com>, and I can be reached by phone at 979-846-0798.
