From A.P.Sawyer at liverpool.ac.uk Fri Sep 14 06:38:25 2007 From: A.P.Sawyer at liverpool.ac.uk (Sawyer, Andy) Date: Fri Sep 14 11:40:39 2007 Subject: [SFFLibraries-L] Vargo Statten in Turkish Message-ID: <328E493A7F3C1F4A9F6C0D6DA43758FBE417A6@EVSSTAFF2.livad.liv.ac.uk> Probably a very slim chance indeed: I have been contacted by Phil Harbottle, collector of all things John Russell Fearn who is trying to trace copies of his novel Across the Ages (as by VARGO STATTEN) which was published in Turkish as As?rlar Boyunca in X - Bilinmeyen Numbers 25 (June 1978) to 36 (June 1979). Unfortunately we only have the first three issues of the magazine in the Science Fiction Foundation collection. I found an email address on the website of X - Bilinmeyen, and have written to see if there is any way of tracking down issues, or at least photocopies, but the message has just been bounced back as undeliverable because the user's mailbox is over quota. Does anyone on this list know of a location for copies of this? Thanks. -------------------------------- Andy Sawyer Science Fiction Librarian Special Collections and Archives University of Liverpool Library PO Box 123, Liverpool L69 3DA, UK.
