[New-Poetry] what I meant by "fact-free"

In 1929 Faulkner wanted his publisher to use different colored ink to  
follow each character in the first section of The Sound and the Fury. His  
publisher abstained because of cost. Technology has made that possible now, but  
calling that a breakthrough seems to set the bar awfully low for  
breakthroughs.
