You speak as if education is a form of brain washing--"the criteria they've
been taught." For most education is ongoing. There are poems and poets I
love now that I wouldn't have looked at twice in my grad school days--and
many who I thought hung the moon back then who have fallen a notch or two in
my eyes. The criteria changes all the time for those who are honestly
engaged.
Honestly, the more you go on about this, the less credible you sound.
You're basically making the same tired arguments that have been made since the
70's. From a fan of paradigm shifts I would expect something a bit more
original.
