[New-Poetry] Goldbarth

Point taken, but I would still argue that Goldbarth *ought* to be more
recognized than he is, in terms of anthology appearances, critical articles,
inclusion in syllabuses, coverage in historical surveys, and so forth.
Sure, he's won some prestigious prizes.  Still, he only recently started
publishing with Graywolf, a major "little" press; it's not as if he's been a
Penguin or a FSG author all these decades.  Rather, he published with
presses like Ohio State, Time Being, Godine, Ontario Review. . . .  So just
try to find some of his early works, even now.

To my mind, he is every bit as major a poet as, say, John Ashbery.  I know
that's not a universally accepted opinion.  But it is (being mine) the
correct one. . . .
