Gee, Bob, that hurts. Not only did Issue 1 forget me, but you did too! Rumors have it I am still alive, although some no doubt hold I barely count as American....

So, um, my book's coming out in, like, ten days in Paris. I have some review copies available for Americans and/or Brits, but not many: anyone have their hearts set on one? (The French seem to be loving it, although that might not mean much off the Continent....). Official announcement forthcoming shortly; still haven't found the time to do the proper press thing stateside...

Oh, and I kinda dig the latest literary mystification, although I dare say it ain't as fresh and new as it might look at first. High-falutin' pranks, including the ego-effacing variety, are part of a long (and very delightful) tradition....
