      In my possibly biased opinion--I wound up as the sole male contributor.

  Seriously, thanks for the notes on the AWP Conference. 
  Souunds like it's time for 'Vegas, baby'. Many 'trade organizations' 
  have this issue: outgrowing the capacity of some cities to handle 
  their event. Not enough rooms, not enuf exhibit space, etc.
