According to Wikipedia, there is an Encyclopaedia American 1851 transformed
into wiki:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Encyclopedia_Americana

link to wiki:
http://www.agepedia.org/

what is funny is that the Merriam-Webster links to the Encyclopaedia
Britannica when you look up for a word they do not have.
