Jorie Graham had a phase in her poetry when she was leaving blank lines to indicate something was escaping her mind or beyond her?imagination,?from Big Bang 13.7 Billion years to the time Earth?formed and became inhabited as a planet,?must have been a really boring stretch in the poem...but as Joubert put it, Not everything in a poem is poetry.
