My poetry reading net is less finely woven than I'd hoped, because I have to
admit
I don't have any recollection of reading his work.

Closer to home, In Connecticut, Curbstone Press, publishes another Jon
Anderson...

Here's some sort of parable of his career, and about the poetry scene
generally: the last person to check out this book was me, in 1988. Sic transit.

Anderson really does seem like a poet whose moment came and went very
quickly. of course I kept getting him confused with the singer for yes when I was
starting to read poetry. I found THE MILKY WAY in a used book store a year or
so ago and brought it home. Well worth whatever it cost. Maybe some press
will be moved to put out a collected or an updated selected.
