JAGGER IMMORTALISED IN POETRY
LATEST: SIR MICK JAGGER has become the unlikely inspiration for poetry - penned by his ex-wife JERRY HALL. The former supermodel, whose nine year marriage to the rocker was annulled in 1999, makes her debut as a poet at a literary festival in England this summer (07). However, Hall published her first poem called Icon about the Rolling Stones frontman last month (Apr07) in British newspaper The Independent - and it doesn't make flattering reading. She writes, "He is a hollow hyperbole/ the crowd plays him like a flute/ the crowd lives out their fantasy/ through his mirror door they see/ an image of the person/ they wish that they could be/ he f**ks their women/ and fights their battles against mediocrity/ but when he comes home to me/ all that's left is VD."
