I'm putting together a special session for the Chicago MLA next year.  The
session will explore experimental writing in the Midwest from a critical
standpoint as it has emerged in the past twenty-five years.  As many of you
on this list could speak to this topic, I invite anyone who is interested to
send me an abstract of 250 words concerning your proposed topic.  I don't
have anything specific in mind, so I'm interested in seeing what people will
come up with from any "experimental" genre.  Please submit abstracts to
wallegre at iun.edu or backchannel.
