[New-Poetry] Religion and the Arts in America

As usual Paglia is self important and full of shit. The religious  
right"hate" the arts because opportunistic pols like Jesse Helms search high and  low 
for the most offensive stuff they can find and say, "See! This is what your  tax 
dollars are finding. This is what your children are being taught in school."  
Conveniently ignoring the fact that many artists of all stripes are  
religious.
