[New-Poetry] Concerning Levertov

Liana Sakelliou-Schultz's _Denise Levertov: An Annotated Primary and
Secondary Bibliography_ (Garland, 1988), gets the title of her book wrong in
the first sentence. I could joke and say it goes "downhill from there," but
that's not _quite_ true. 

 

The problem with such reference works is that a good scholar will be
discouraged from writing a better bibliography (for years) because the
marketing departments of publishing firms  realize it will be hard to sell
since the poor work is already owned by a number of libraries.
