Call for Papers Deadline Reminder

This year, the deadline for getting paper and panel proposals to the appropriate Division Heads was later than you might be used to, at the end of November rather than in October.
So you do have until November 30 to submit a proposal.
However, there's nothing like beating a deadline! And there's no reason you have to wait until November 30 to send in those proposals.
So, check out the website (www.iafa.org) for the Call for Papers, with possible topic ideas and the contact information for the Division Heads.
And feel free to download a copy of the CfP to circulate in your departments or at other conferences you might be attending.

NYRSF: Rate Increase
A note to all IAFA members from David Hartwell:
For the first time in several years NYRSF have to raise rates a bit.
U.S. BULK RATE $28
U.S. FIRST CLASS $38
CANADIAN $34
INSTITUTIONAL $36
OVERSEAS VIA AIR PRINTED MATTER
UK & Europ $40 2.50 plus envelope
Pacific & Australia $42
The new rates go into effect in January 06, and so apply to all members for the 06 calendar year.
The membership renewal forms will be updated on the website shortly. But in the meantime, if you're sending in your membership renewal, make sure to adjust your total for your subscription to NYRSF (an optional benefit) accordingly.
