NewPoetry: Contemporary Poetry News & Views

Founded in 2001, this list serves as an open forum for discussions related to Contemporary Poetry.

You are free to post: publication announcements, reviews, essays, open letters, calls for submissions, quotes, news items, and, of course, poems and your commentary.

Note: If you're posting your own work, please limit yourself to one poem per month.

The list is unmoderated; however, we do not allow name calling or other forms of aggressive or derisive posting. Listmembers who are unable to stay within the bounds of civilized dialog will be banned.

Contributing Correspondents—The following list members have agreed to facilitate discussion by posting an item or remark each week: Anny Ballardini, Jim Cervantes, Jim Finnegan, David Graham, Halvard Johnson, Amy King, Jeff Newberry, Tad Richards.

We hope you enjoy the experience of being a part of NewPoetry.
