Affiliated Organizations

These groups are affiliated with and working within IAFA.

The Lord Ruthven Assembly

Devoted to the scholarly study of the vampire in the arts, The Lord Ruthven Assembly is the only organization officially affiliated with the IAFA. Its objectives include the serious pursuit of scholarship and research focusing on the vampire/revenant figure in a variety of disciplines. Members actively participate in the annual conference of the IAFA, offering several sessions of academic papers. Visit the Lord Ruthven web site for more information.

The IAFA Student Caucus

The official student group within the IAFA is open to graduate as well as undergraduate students. The caucus, SCIAFA for short, sponsors a mentor program and a late-night film screening at ICFA. Check out the SCIAFA website for more information.
